Our Security & Convenience Features
Cabman considers the Safety of all partners as the pivot on which our policies and programmes revolve. As such, the following measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of both drivers and riders on our platform:
Telephone Number
Confirmation:
Every user, Rider or Driver is mandatorily
required to confirm registered phone number as a
way of ensuring validity of identity
and reachability, as telephone numbers are
mandatorily registered by
owners in the country.
Share Ride
button:
This function helps both Riders and Drivers to
ensure their loved ones or any person of choice,
access the live data of the ride in real-time,
for the
purpose of their safety. As soon as the Driver
activate the Start Ride function, the Rider and
Driver can then shares the ride details as
preferred.
SOS Button:
This function is also available to both Drivers
and Riders once the requested ride has
started. Upon suspicion of foul play or in the
event of any uncomfortable situation, the SOS
function
can be used to quickly communicate with the
nearest Police Emergency Service in time of
need with just a click of the button.
GPS Navigation
Button:
This feature is a veritable tool for Drivers to
navigate to the pickup point even without
knowing the route to the Riders location. It
helps to keep the Driver properly guided.
Ride Later
Button:
This feature helps to keep you properly
organized as it enables you book ride
hours or days ahead. Maybe to coincide with your
meeting closure time or your
Airport arrival time and avoid the hassles of
rushing at the nick of time.
Pay Bills & Utilities
Button:
This feature is available to both Drivers and
Riders. It gives you the comfort and convenience
of buying Airtime, Data, paying
Cable TV Subscription & Electricity Bills even
while riding, anytime and
anywhere.
At Cabman, Everyone is a Partner
Upon Sign-up as a Driver or Rider on our platform, you automatically assume the status of a Partner and earn from the activities of Cabman. However, this is dependent on the role you choose to play as benefits are dependent on your activities on CABMAN.
HOW IT WORKS:
When you Sign-up as a Driver or Rider you are
assigned a Referral Code with which you
can invite other Drivers or Riders to the
platform. As a Driver, anytime you refer
another Driver who completes the registration
process with your referral code, you earn a
fixed
amount which is subject to review from time to
time.
However as a Rider, you earn 2% of payments for rides made by all Riders you refer to the platform. So, the more Riders you invite, the higher your chances of earning daily income. Your earnings are credited immediately and automatically to your Wallet as soon as a ride is completed. These earnings can be used to book Rides, buy Airtime, Data, pay Electricity Bills and Cable TV subscriptions.
Cabman All-In-One App
We have deployed our state-of-the-art ride-hailing App - CABMAN DUO, an all-in-one App that connects Riders and Drivers with the tap of a button. Riders enjoy our Fare Estimator which gives them the benefit of privily knowing the cost of their rides. Riders enjoy 2% referral bonus from fares paid by their referrals as well as earn discounts from paying utility bills (Airtime & Data, Electricity Bills, Cable TV subscriptions like DSTV, Startimes, ShowMax & GOTV). Riders also enjoy promotional discount on the CABMAN DUO App from time to time.
Meanwhile CABMAN empowers Drivers as they drive at their own convenience. Drivers sign up with Cabman and earn 85% of every ride in addition to Referral bonus for every driver they refer who completes the registration process. Drivers also enjoy discount from paying utility bills (Airtime & Data, Electricity Bills, Cable TV subscriptions like DSTV, Startimes, ShowMax & GOTV). Above all, Drivers have access to an insurance policy (Terms & Conditions apply).
Our multiple payment modes - Cash, Wallet and Card options gives you flexibility so you can easily request and pay for rides. Interestingly also, our App automatically identifies your location as trip Origin, upon start-up so that the Driver can locate you quickly and easily even if you don`t know your exact address.

Launch the App and enter your origin and destination. Our App automatically detects your origin even if you dont know it. You only need to enter your Destination.

Choose your ride type - Classic or Executive and select Ride Now if you want to ride at that time or Ride Later if you want to schedule a ride. Then select your preferred payment mode - Cash, Wallet or Card after which you select Confirm.
